3. Download and install the HP Smart app on your mobile, then Open it.
4. On the homepage of the App, click on your printer with a blue tick. If your printer doesn’t show up here, click the Plus icon at the top of the HP Smart App and connect to the desired printer.
   
5. Scroll down to the very bottom and click on “Advance Settings.” It’ll open a webpage in your browser.
   
6. An option will appear which says, “Continuing to your printer settings” click “OK.” It will land you on HP Website.
   
7. Here again, click on “Settings” and look for “Restore Defaults” > “Restore Factory Defaults.”
   
8. On the next page, enter your PIN and click “Submit.”
   
9. Again click on “Restore Factory Defaults” and confirm the reset process by clicking on “Yes.”
   
10. On top of the screen, “Restoring factory defaults…” will appear, which might take a few minutes to complete.
11. After this, your printer will automatically restart, and purple light will appear, which indicates that your printer has successfully reset to factory defaults or original settings.
